Temple, Peace of mind

South Korea

Korean temples were established when Buddhism was introduced to Korea, and offer beautiful scenery and healing. These seven temples, founded between the 7th and 9th centuries, are centers of faith, spiritual practice, and monk community life, showing the historical development of Korean Buddhism. Various Korean Buddhist beliefs were accepted in the grounds of mountain temples, and this is well preserved in historical structures, halls, relics, and documents. Also, experiencing the daily life of practitioners in temples where history and culture are alive through temple stays can be a good experience.
