About

About
It is a 228.3m high mountain in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do. It is the highest mountain in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, and the last peak of the Noryeong Mountain Range at the southern end of the Muan Peninsula. Since it is the highest mountain in Mokpo, there are many hikers and tourists every year. Traffic congestion is especially severe in the spring when the Yudalsan Cherry Blossom Festival is held. There is a Mokpo Marine Cable Car North Port Station nearby, so you can see Gohado Island at a glance from Yudalsan. Yudalsan has been called Gaegolsan since ancient times, and the reason it is called Gaegolsan, the winter name of Geumgangsan, is because the terrain is so rugged and there are many strangely shaped rocks.
