Daegu Jingolmok’s famous Mido Tea House was run by Jeong In-sook, who took over a friend’s tea house in 1982, and has been running it for over 30 years. After moving twice, it finally settled in its current location in the Jingolmok alley in 2013. Mido Tea House has been a famous place visited by presidents, politicians, Confucian scholars, writers, and painters from the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, and even now, there are many regulars who come to work every day. Coffee costs 2,500 won, and you can also drink herbal tea and Ssanghwacha brewed with good herbs from Daegu Herbal Medicine Market for 3,000 to 4,000 won.
