About
About
Mijin, a long-established restaurant in the Gwanghwamun area since 1952, specializes in Korean cold buckwheat noodles. They offer a soy sauce broth with a stronger flavor than Japanese soba tsuyu and chewier buckwheat noodles. The broth and noodles are made directly in the factory in the basement of the restaurant and served to customers right away. A pitcher full of cold broth and the buckwheat noodle soup generously provided to each table can be adjusted to your taste. Buckwheat pancakes filled with bean sprouts, tofu, fresh kimchi, and pork filling are also popular menu items here, and they are also sold in half-portions, or single lines. Since there is a very long line during meal times, it is better to avoid lunch and dinner times. Mijin’s signature menu item is cold buckwheat noodles.
