Opened in the early 1900s as Korea's first restaurant, this place boasts a history of over 100 years, and has still maintained the name Seolnongtang that it used when it first opened a long time ago. The highlight of this restaurant is the taste of the white and clear soup that remains after boiling the beef bones in a cast iron cauldron for 17 hours and completely removing the oil. Imun Seolnongtang is a seolleongtang specialty restaurant during the Korean Empire, Japanese colonial period, and the Republic of Korea. It opened in Hanseongbu (currently Seoul) in 1902 during the reign of King Gojong, and is the oldest existing restaurant in Korea for over 100 years.
Unlike other seolleongtang restaurants, they insist on not using artificial seasonings, so the taste of seolleongtang is unusually bland and light. Basically, the soup is barely seasoned, so visitors must season it with the salt, pepper, sliced ​​green onions, radish radish, kimchi, etc. that are provided on the table as standard, depending on the visitor's taste. In addition, unlike the seolleongtang that people commonly know, it is made with various parts of the cow, so it has a lot of ingredients.
