The Samsung Mobility Museum is Korea's first automobile-themed museum, showcasing a vast collection of historic vehicles and future transportation technologies. Spanning over massive grounds near Everland, it offers an immersive experience where visitors can trace the 130-year history of the automobile. Recently rebranded from the "Samsung Transportation Museum," it has expanded its scope to include autonomous driving, drones, and personal mobility, serving as a comprehensive cultural space for movement and innovation.

History

Founded in May 1998 by Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, the museum was established to promote a healthy automotive culture and to preserve the heritage of transportation. Over the decades, it has curated one of Asia's most significant collections of classic cars. In 2023, the museum underwent a major renewal and rebranding as the "Samsung Mobility Museum" to reflect the rapid shift towards future-oriented mobility solutions while still honoring its rich historical roots.
