Everland

Overview

Everland is South Korea's largest theme park, operated by Samsung Everland. It is divided into five unique zones: Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure, and Zootopia. From world-class thrill rides to beautiful seasonal gardens and immersive animal exhibits, Everland offers a diverse range of entertainment for visitors of all ages.

History

Opened in 1976 as 'Yongin Jayeon Nongwon' (Yongin Nature Farm), it was Korea's first large-scale theme park. It was rebranded as Everland in 1996 to reflect its international growth. Over the decades, it has evolved into a comprehensive resort, adding Caribbean Bay (water park) and Speedway (racing track), and becoming a major cultural landmark in Gyeonggi-do.

• **T-Express**: Korea's first and most famous wooden roller coaster, featuring a 77-degree drop and speeds of up to 104 km/h.

• **Panda World**: Home to the beloved 'Bao Family' (Aibao, Lebao, Ruibao, and Huibao), where visitors can observe giant pandas in a state-of-the-art habitat.

• **Lost Valley & Safari World**: Immersive wildlife experiences where you can see lions, tigers, giraffes, and bears from amphibious vehicles or specialized trams.

• **Four Seasons Garden**: A stunning landscape that hosts different festivals throughout the year, such as the Tulip Festival in spring and the Rose Festival in summer.

• **K-Pop Demon Hunters Zone**: Experience the new theme zone based on Netflix's animation, which opened in late 2025, blending K-Pop culture with interactive attractions.
