Established in 1982, Jinmi Tongdak is the most iconic representative of Suwon Chicken Street. Despite its long history and move to a large, modern new building, it has preserved the authentic taste of "Kamasot" (cauldron-fried) chicken. It is a legendary spot that has been featured in numerous TV programs and is considered a mandatory culinary stop for anyone visiting the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress area.

The chicken is fried in a traditional large iron cauldron, which ensures a high temperature that locks in the juices while creating an exceptionally crispy, thin skin.
