Overview

The Suyeonggang Human Bridge is a landmark pedestrian bridge designed to enhance accessibility between the Centum City business district and the residential areas of Suyeong-gu. With its sleek, curved design inspired by the movements of waves and whales, it has quickly become a favorite spot for evening strolls and photography, offering a unique vantage point of the city's futuristic skyline.

History

Proposed as part of the '15-Minute City Busan' project, construction began in early 2023 and was completed in 2025. The bridge was built to resolve the long-standing detour pedestrians had to take via the Suyeonggyo or Jwa-suyeonggyo bridges. It serves as a vital link in the riverside eco-park system, connecting the 'Millak Waterfront Park' and the 'APEC Naru Park' trails.
