Overview
Korea Job World is the nation's largest comprehensive career experience center, established under the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Designed like a miniature city, it provides a realistic environment where children and teenagers can explore hundreds of different professions through immersive role-playing. From firefighting and surgery to space exploration and K-pop performance, the center helps young visitors cultivate self-directed career development skills and sound vocational values.
History
The project was first announced in 2004 to address the lack of systematic career guidance for youth. Following years of meticulous planning and construction, Korea Job World officially opened its doors on May 15, 2012, in Seongnam. Since then, it has welcomed over 7 million visitors. In 2022, it further expanded its facilities by opening 'Makive,' a creative studio for arts, crafts, and high-tech making, keeping pace with the evolving trends of the future job market.
