It is located on the east coast of the southeastern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do and is the central city of the eastern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do and the largest city in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Also, POSCO, a leading steel company, is located here, and POSTECH, a famous engineering college in Korea, is located here. Also, Guryongpo is famous nationwide for its specialty, gwamegi. Also, Jukdo Market, which sells fresh seafood immediately, is famous, and the area around Yeongildae Beach is great for sightseeing.
